| 'REFRESHING' | | Strengths: Good design and ride position for a "new" rider. Bouncy fun pre-loadable forks. Saddle is comfy for me but i think it all depends on bum shape. Feels like it isnt going to rattle into pieces. Oh, and it's a Specialized, which gets you a damn site more respect than chip shop bikes from Raleigh, Apollo, Saracen, Kona....... | | Weaknesses: Forks can "dip" a little. Inspires so much confidence on the trail that you want to spend £3500 on a better bike and turn into Steve Peat. | | Overall: Following recommendation from people on the net (including on Bikemagic) went for this one over anything else in the price bracket and am totally satisfied. I know its not a Ferrari but I ain't paying Ferrari money! |
