'EXCELLENT BUDGET BIG HIT FORK!'
Strengths:
Cheap, at only 170 quid now, but i got mine for 100 quid, which was well worth it.
U-turn, helps between jumping and some big drops. Lower it for the jumping, and then i can extend it for the drops as and when i want.
And strong, done a few nose dives and they have head out nicely...
Damn plush...
Weaknesses:
80mm is an arse, too hard to get 100mm
No preload adjusting
Overall:
80mm is annoying, but its useful when i dont want to bob up and down on the road, but then, its too hard to get to 100mm, but a marker pen will fix that...
Excellent forks, and worth the money. Just the preload, which is annoying, as mine are too soft, and a new spring will empty my pockets for good :(

'PERFECT!'
Strengths:
Wont bend like my old rim!
Looks cool in black
Light
Strong!
Weaknesses:
Metal tyre levers scratched all my paint :(
Overall:
Even tho i have F219 Disks (there isnt one here yet) Their pretty much the same but without the breaking surface.
Anyway, for the 20 quid, what a bargin! light, strong, and really nice looking. Look no further, get a 219 or 519!

Shimano Deore Disc Front Hub

'WORKS...'
Strengths:
Turns.
Holds a disk.
Within my tiny budget
Weaknesses:
Weak - axle bends
Heavy.
Looks mank in black.
Overall:
Only have it if you dont care about strength... or weight.

But, its a hub that works. Get it if you want to - it isnt a waste of money. But if you're serious, you'd better go for the british made hope.

Oh, and its much cheaper than hope in rear. But for front, go for a hope xc for 10 quid extra

Park Tools P02C Glueless Patch Kit

'SH*T'
Strengths:
Quick to repair a puncture
Weaknesses:
Go to a high pressure, and they blow off.
If they do, you have a screwed inner tube, as the hole is no longer repairable.
Overall:
Just use conventional Glue patches. Means you can still run high pressures without it blowing back open.

'GR8!'
Strengths:
Shifts nicely, looks decent
Weaknesses:
Silver looks kak!
Go down a kurb, clank, go up a kurb, klank, take a lil jump, clank.
Overall:
Decent mech, but it bangs your frame too much.

'BEST!'
Strengths:
Wont move, unlike my old grips which fell off every 5 minutes.
Very easy to get off, undo the bolts and they slide off.
Weaknesses:
The grip wears down too easily. Ive had mine 2 months, and already need to replace them at 10 quid a time.
Overall:
Very grippy, and easy to get off - no nail varnish or glue needed, but they come at a price, of 5 quid a month, but i ride my bike 6 days out of 7

'PRICY!!!'
Strengths:
Strong, looks
Weaknesses:
None
Overall:
Its a decent stem, and will take anything u throw at it.

BUT BUTTY BUT!

The 40 quid is virtually a rip off, when you can get others for the same design and strength from other ppl, like Dead Head (£20)

But anyway, its worth about 40 quid, but why pay soooooooo much?

Tioga Factory DH Tyre - 2.1

'WORTH IT.'
Strengths:
Nice grip, ok weight for me...
Weaknesses:
They barely fitted my frame. They rubbed at my chainstays... but my rim was bent, but still, i only had 1mm to play with in a 2.4 inch gap...
Overall:
Their worth the money if you can get a pair for 20 quid... from virtually anywhere...

'OUT PERFORMS HYDROS FOR SAME PRICE!'
Strengths:
When set up properly... one finger endos on a cable disk sitting on your seat.
Weaknesses:
Get a LIL bit of oil in it... and you're rubbing meths on the disk and pads for months. But u got to expect that!
Overall:
It works. And for 85 quid it performs brilliantly!

Pointless paying 150 for hydraulics when u can get this for 85 and get the same stopping power.
