Strengths: Fairly Light weight grippy on most surfaces 'anti snake bite'
Weaknesses: price may wear quickly
Overall: I first bought these tires purely for winter XC race use, but after using them on the wet, muddy trails i don't want to take them off!
they are fantastically grippy on all surfaces. and just cut straight through deep mud, the bike doesnt 'float' around like with wider tires. i had a bit of slippage on wet roots, but hey, this is a downfall for any tire.
at 530g they are pretty light wieght, and if the 'anti snakebite chafer' is as good as the fire XC pro's, i don't see myself having problems with punctures.
at £27 they are fairly expensive, and they do seem to be a fairly soft compound so may wear quickly on road. but i guess it's horses for courses.
i don't see me taking these tires off untill spring!
