Strengths: Frame is bulletproof, rear chainstays are beefy enough to withstand some heavy drops, everything but the cranks and stem are ok but would need upgrading at some point
Weaknesses: Crankset & Bottom bracket had to be replaced under warranty within the first 2 months. one off problem apparently.
sorted now - no more weaknesses.
Overall: I have upgraded to a deore front & rear mech, Deore crankset, Ameoba DH bars, and outland DH short stem, Still Got to sort the forks but they are fine for the time being,
Decent bike for not a lot of money perfect to upgrade
Strengths: Its strength, has a good range of tools has many uses aside from cycling, The chain tool for a 'mini' is very good
For less than £20 its great value.
Weaknesses: Lack of spade end screwdriver, (not a major weakness though).
Overall: Tried and tested over a number of total strip downs and rebuilds and only through misuse did I break the chain tool, (trying to push a out the wrong pin on an IG chain)it was replaced immediately by the supplier.
Strengths: I have taken this bike downhilling, XC and have ridden for miles on the road and trail, the only problems I have encountered are punctured inner tubes.
Weaknesses: None as of yet, Standard wheels ok but would need upgrading for more serious downhilling/jumping.
Overall: Excellent low priced bike for beginner and more advanced, ready to go from day one and keeps on going.
