Strengths: Strong, Well Made, Excellent tough paint job. They are just right really, a simple product done well.
Weaknesses: Heavy, maybe? The rise is perhaps a bit higher than i would have liked, but that is all personal choice. Knurled ends do nothing to help grips stay, if anything they make grips slip more... am I being picky? there are probably better quality bars from ''cooler'' BMX brands out there for the same money.
Overall: Not really something that can be done really badly 2pc bars, but these have served me well, and with some good quality alloy bar bungs have survived loads of crashing and missed barspins.
Although if i was to replace them i wouldn't buy snafu bars again as i would like to look for something a bit lighter with a different sweep.
Strengths: i now ride on rails, mud is no longer an issue, high speeds till the pedals r in it. v. tough too.
Weaknesses: my wallet died a death
Overall: put a survival pro on the back, (sell ur kidney cos they r both pricey) and laugh at people when their front washes out cos u get wonderfully predictable rear wheel slides
Strengths: comfortable, light, good value for money
Weaknesses: my 2000 ones come a bit short on my shins but i dunno whether that has been remedied for 2001, also the straps can rub the back of my knees after riding for a long time
Overall: I have been riding and forgotten i've had these on til i slipped of my pedals and it didin't hurt and thats what they should be doing. Isn't it?
Strengths: strong yet pretty light, it absolutely rocks on the twisty stuff
Weaknesses: the polished finished is a pain to get clean, and the back brake bosses are a little flexy which i notice when braking hard.
Overall: Comfy and light alluminium frame that is built to last, a couple of offs and drops have sorted that, and it jumps surprisingly! It is a very nice bike to ride for a long way cos it isn't harsh especially with some big tyres (2.3") and theres still plenty of room for mud.
