Weaknesses: only one niggle; I would have liked a Marzocchi fork, rather than the Manitou, but it does the job and the microlube ports are handy
Overall: I love riding this bike - It is so good going up and coming back down. Expecially love that little 'sink down' in the back end you get when you really put the power down..feels like a sports car.
Very stable cornering, and the low maintenance pivot set-up. it's very tempting to commute on the thing, it just feels so good to ride.
Strengths: frame, deore drivetrain, hubs/wheels all better than average spec for the money
Weaknesses: none as yet, but only ridden it for 3 months now
Overall: Bought this in Jan and have really enjoyed riding this - comfy on the road to and from work and feels surefooted and solid on trails and singletrack.
I debated long and hard in shop about this or Kona Blast - don't regret buying the Trek although Kona was very tempting.
P.S Sorry to shop assistant who had to stand in the snow for 45 minutes while I tried them both out in carpark!
