Strengths: Its cheap, the wheels and fork are bombproof
Weaknesses: the front brake is useless, get rid of it! Its also really heavy and because its quite short it sometimes flips over when you wheelie it.The flatland tyres are useless in the wet too cos but thats to be expected
Overall: Good for the money but not for street riders/big air bandits cos itsa freestyle frame.
Strengths: The frame is gr8, it climbs like a mountain goat, and is perfect for singletrack and fast descending. Solid enough to descend in the lakes but light enough to climb back up
Weaknesses: The specialized hubs are not well sealed, and the freehub body is not replaceable, you have to get a new hub if it dies :-(. The chainset is also a bit cheap, the rings wear out quickly.
Strengths: Its fairly cheap, light, mine is really plush and i have not had the flex problem everyone else is on about
Weaknesses: The internals are cheap plastic, and the nut tendd to get chewed up if the wrong size spanner is used. The pre load adjuster also snapped off but was replaced for free in the shop in 2 mins!
Overall: Good performance, shame about the plastic bits, get the shop to service it if you are heavy handed
