Strengths: Loads of bikes, careers, lots to unlock
Weaknesses: Perhaps could do with some more tracks but there are so many different routes down the mountain.
Overall: Bought the game a week ago and is so addictive. there are loads of riders, bikes, videos, etc. to unlock and though there arent heaps of courses there are so many different lines down the mountains you'll never find them all. All bikes are brand names and big names to come to that. Loads of careers to complete to keep you entertained for ages aswell. Must buy playstation game.
Strengths: The seat tube goes around the shock strengthening the frame so there isnt so much flex. Forks are soooooo smooth and really adjustable. The shock has 3 different settings (open, pro pedal, Locked) for every style of riding. The disc brakes are nice and powerful and ver reliable in all weather.
Weaknesses: Handlebars are too wide and not enough rise on them for me but I bought myself some Easton EA50's to settle that. Nothing else wrong though.
Overall: Very responsive and brilliant finishing kit all over. Best bike Ive ever had and you can do every type of offroad with it.
Weaknesses: The Fork has no damping and tops out stupidly
Overall: Buy this bike but upgrade some stuff like saddle stem and fork to make it even better because the other stuff that comes on the frame is crap except the gears and frame.
Strengths: Has never spinned on me on even any of the wettest or slippiest climbs I have been on in the forest. Takes vibrations in with its large air volume
Strengths: It looks like a beast with those knobbly bits coming fom the tyre and I got a pair of these tyres at the NEC Bike Show for £10!!!
Weaknesses: Weigh quite alot. Chenck the size of your frame because the 2.1s are more like 2.3s!
Overall: Going around the corners it has no skid at all and in the mud too. They make you feel really confident aswell and make you feel able to do really big jumps and makes you go faster down the downhills. Its good at climbing and clears the mud ok. On the road it is a little heavy but the price and performance in the loose grounded forest more than makes up for this great tyre. It feels as though it has a life of its own going downhill making you want to go faster and faster. Definetly one worth buying.
Strengths: The frame is double butted and withstands any jumps and trails thrown at it and the Magura Julie Disc Brakes have great stopping power and dont screech. The suspension is smooth and takes in bumps brilliantly after it is bedded in.
Weaknesses: The Rockster tyres are good in the dry but slip alot in the mud.
Overall: Definetly one worth buying as it bombs down the trails well and is stylish and fun. Once the suspension is bedded in it is a great bike. Go buy it. As I say the discs have immense stopping power and could stop a land rover. They are brilliant. The frame is light and double butted for extra strengh and has a nice paintwork design. The suspension is smooth and plush and once worn in takes in every bump brilliantly. The gears seem to work well without making too much sound.
Strengths: Doesnt take long to wear in and bounces taking in the bumps like a dream.
Weaknesses: None
Overall: Its very smooth and also buy Manitou prep lubricant and gun to put into the microlube port and to rub on the stanchions for even better performance.
