Strengths: Massive tabletops. Interesting alternative lines. Great looking forest climbs Not much traffic
Weaknesses: Signage to get there! Is it being kept a secret by the locals?
Bizarre section which snakes back and forth over a straight path. (Better than going straight but confusing). If you follow the straight path you'll miss the signpost. If you miss the sign post go left!
There's one section (with the tree stump jumps) which seems too tight. If you get the speed to do the jumps it sends you off course or straight into a tight berm, so it's difficult to get the speed for the next jump. Probably best to just aim to do every other jump, then do that section a few times.
Overall: Once you've done Whytes Level get back in the motor and do the extra 1 and a half hour drive, it's worth it.
'ALL THE BENEFITS OF EGG BEATERS BUT MORE VERSATILE'
Strengths: They come with loads of spare bits. They're lighter than they look. Large contact area when not clipped in.
Weaknesses: The paint rubs off really quick..um..They only do them in grey. Only had them for a couple of weeks so I'll update this in a couple of months.
Overall: Coming from years of using flats I can't compare to other clipless pedals, but found them easy to use, never accidently come out (or in), and I reckon they've improved my riding.
