Kryptonite Krait Cable Lock

'GOOD STERDY AND REASONABLE PRICE'

Strengths:
the lock as said above is pick proof and drill proof which gives added protection. The lock feels sterdy and does not give at all when pulled or tugged this reassures the bike owner that their bike is safe! The vinyl coating protects the cable from weathering and other detteriation of the cable. It is fairly priced for the quality of the lock.

Weaknesses:
The actual cable length could be sli9ghtly longer this would help locking around large objects, lamposts etc...

Overall:
a good well priced qualtiy lock freely available from large shops like halfords!

Vans Rowley XLT

'EXPENSIVE AND CRAP'

Strengths:
comfy
looks good
fairly light

Weaknesses:
poor build quality
lack of grip on sole
expensive for what they are
poor materials used

Overall:
The rowley xlt is an ok casual shoe. It is popular and looks ok. You can buy them in a navy colour and a grey colour. They are also fairly light. But once you wear them on the bike off road they are completey hoplessly. When i wore them off road my feet were continuosly slipping off the peddle causing me to injure my shin when the pedal slipped back around. The shoes arent cheap at 75 quid and i think that the materials used to make them were the poorest vans could use. A big thumbs down to the rowley xlt

Specialized Hardrock Sport

'TOP CLASS FOR THE DOSH'

Strengths:
good sterdy frame, im a big fan of the specialized geometry kit so i like the saddle. good rims and the tyres are also good.

Weaknesses:
the forks (rst gila) seem to have been skimmped on they dont live up to the rest of the bike. They are ok but will be changed soon.

Overall:
for 300 quid this bike is top class. The frame seems strong and is not too heavy but certainly aint the lightest of all frames.
