Strengths: Variety of trails, diversity of trails, and scale.
Weaknesses: Bad weather, water ruts and the price of beer.
Overall: Awesome, the most stunning scenery you'll ever see. Oh..and the rides, great. Easy to get to know your way around although the maps and directions aren't that easy to follow and you don't always know if all the lifts are working.
A week isn't long enough so it looks like I am going back year after year just to make sure I nail all those trails.
There are some excellent technical challenges available and if you don't feel like it, there are easier ways around and so many routes to choose from.
Morzine is great village and very welcoming by the locals.
Weaknesses: Big design flaw is that the thumb screws are useless. They are the type that you screw tight and then they loosen as you keep screwing. This causes the thread to fade after just a few uses. With out the thumb screws being tight, the arms are not secure and they move across the body of the rack with the sideways movement of the bike. I can only travel about 60-70 miles before the arm has completely moved across and reaches the point where it will drop. I have had this rack only 5 months and I have to keep stopping at the side of the motorway to move the arm back. This design flaw could be rectified by the insertion of holes in the rack tube that locked longer screws in place.
Overall: A good rack but flawed. I would have recommended this rack a few months ago but now I can only think that I have wasted my money and am looking for a suitable alternative.
