Strengths: Looks good in black and loads cheaper than the Xen. Comfy fit - the only one I could find in Royles that fitted my (obviously very strangely sized) noggin. FWIW I have a long, big head. That massive sized one (Testagrossa?) fits me but looks like I could provide an emergency landing site for Concorde or something...
Weaknesses: Bit warm for my liking. I am very hot blooded though, but I certainly don't think it's *well* ventilated. Otherwise, nothing.
Overall: I like this helmet - it feels so much more stable on than my old Bell. Hopefully it performs as well if/when it impacts the floor in a year's time with me attached. If it fits you, buy one.
'ABSOLUTELY CORKING TO RIDE AND A LITTLE BIT UNUSUAL'
Strengths: Well put together, handles well, climbs and descends well. OK in mud even knowing where it was designed! Very stiff chassis yet 6lb 5 oz frame/shock/headset so nice and light too.
Weaknesses: Front mech mounting too fiddly; linkage bolts came loose; stickers are rubbish!
Overall: Something a little different from the Specialized/Marin "norm". As long as the forks you put on aren't too long, this is a belter of a bike to have! Service from the factory for me has been great (even though I bought this 2nd hand).
