Strengths: Hmmm... Looks chunky, if you don't look at the quad version.
Weaknesses: Lasted almost 4 months. Has been kept well greased. Started creaking after 3 months. Stripped it and re-greased again, but when I re-fitted it, the threaded part of the cup completely broke off from the "Mega?" cup. And it was on the non-drive side. Was a right pain trying to get the remains out of my BB shell.
Also noticed that the external seals around the bearing, flex open, leaving a small gap for debris to get into the bearings.
Overall: Best part of 50 notes down the pan. Has put me right off FSA BB's.
Strengths: Good solid performer. Has had a few knocks and still shifts like as though it was new. Looks the business. Easy to clean due to its open cage design.
Weaknesses: None so far.
Overall: Very happy with this. Very reliable in in wet slushy mud. Smooth shifting. Get one, you won't be disappointed.
Strengths: Had this for a couple of months now. Still looking mint, although that could be down to the Rock n Roll Extreme lube I use. Not a spec of rust on it anywhere and no problems shifting. Gold Powerlink is a doddle to use.
Weaknesses: It's a chain, what can you say?
Overall: Very impressed with it, my last chain would rust without even thinking about it.
Strengths: Just got this frame and waiting for rest of my bits to build thid bike from scratch. Looks strong, with nice neat welds. Faced BB and head tube. Rear drop-outs look the nuts. Can't wait to get it build up.
Weaknesses: Comes with a pre-greased BB, but some swarf left in threads. Most people would clean it out and use their own grease etc anyway, so it's not a problem.
Overall: Very impressed. Will write another review once I have it build. We'll see if I'm still impressed once it's been build up a ridden.
