Shimano M072 Shoe

'GOOD FIRST CLIPLESS SHOE'

Strengths:
Comfortable (have to get a size bigger ie 44 if you usually take a 43). Strong hold onto bike. Good first time shoes as price is not exhorbitant.

Weaknesses:
The tongues of both shoes fall down the side of the shoes. Only gripe.

Overall:
Really happy with these. Not too hard to walk in. Use with shimano multi release cleats to start out cannot go wrong.

Shimano M424 SPD MTB Pedal

'WOULD RECOMMEND THESE TO FIRST TIMERS.'

Strengths:
Good first clipless pedal.ie easy to set up and maintain. Price v reasonable. Strong confident hold.

Weaknesses:
Really difficult to ride uphill in normal trainers.

Overall:
Very good pedal. Shimano quality. Won't ever cycle with flatties again.
Much more control over bike and more efficient pedalling.

Bell Avanti Helmet - 2005

'POOR DIALFIT SYSTEM'

Strengths:
Looks nice in gunmetal grey! Not too heavy

Weaknesses:
after two exchanges of the helmet cut my losses and bought a giro. Dialfit system did not work, uncomfortable and painful to fasten.

Overall:
Don't bother a waste of time and money.
