Yes, it's that time of year again - the entry forms for Saab Salomon Mountain Mayhem (Eastnor Park, 25-26 June) are out and the mad dash to get an entry has begun. We dare say a bunch of people have already been to organiser Pat Adams's house to hand-deliver their forms. These days we can't for the life of us figure out whether it's first-come-first-served or picked at random or if your chances of getting in are governed by the movements of the planets or what, but there's clearly no harm whatsoever in pulling your finger out, filling the form in and getting it posted.

New for 2005 is a Mixed Expert category, with just four riders rather than the five of the regular Mixed category. If you usually race Expert this is where your mixed team should be.
