Glyncorrwg's new café

Glyncorrwg's new Drop-Off café (and associated Skyline bike shop) has been open for a few months now, but very sensibly the owners have waited for better weather and lighter evenings before having a bit of a celebratory opening bash. And the news just in from our Short Notice department is that said bash is this very evening - 6 May - from 7pm.

The Drop-Off boasts a variety of handy amenities, allowing you to come in from a spin on the reliably entertaining Wall, White's Level or Skyline (or variations thereof) trails, clean your bike, have a hot shower and then venture upstairs for proper coffee and tasty nosh.

This evening will have the added attractions of live music, some DJ action (that's records, not jumps), big-screen MTB action and a flare-lit night-time descent of the last bit of Skyline.

Details (inexplicably not including the date or time) may be found at www.the-dropoff.com/launch.php - as soon as I find a bike that works I'll be off over there to get a ride in first...
