Eurobike 2006 - New Marins revealed

Quad XC

Marin are more than a popular choice with XC/enduro riders, and the Mount Vision sits at the top of the Quad XC range. The four-bar linkage design worked great, but now it's been updated. Looking like a scaled down Quake, the shock's held in place by two short links, which in turn keep the extended swingarm in check. Like the Quake, hydroforming is used heavily on the downtube and specifically at the shock mounts. Previous criticisms of Marin bikes have centered around the somewhat angular and workmanlike asethetic, but now the company has fully embraced the French Curves school of styling. We like it, and will bring you a first ride soon. Watch this space.

Something in common across all the new Marin's are the new colour schemes, which we're very heppy to see.

Quake

No major changes to the Quake range, except a slew of new colours.

Titanium hardtail

We spotted this really tasty, rather slinky, titanium hardtail too. Triple butted tubing, clean lines, tidy dropouts - would make a really nice racer.
