The multi discpline Ace race adventure series has announced a pre-season training camp and the full race calendar for next year.
The second training camp is on 30 March - 1 April 2001 and will involve sessions on navigation, nutrition, kit and flexibility with practical sessions on running, mountain biking, night navigation and canoeing. The emphasis will be on small group work with a fun team adventure challenge on the Sunday. There will be plenty of opportunities for socialising too! The course is residential on a full board basis and costs £100. For more information and application forms run / bike / canoe over to the Ace race website.
After that you'll be fully ready (hopefully) for the ACE Races Adventure Series 2001 which happen on 21-22 April, 2-3 June, 14-15 July and 1-2 September.
If you can't manage all of them, you may be pleased to know that you need only compete in 3 events to qualify for a series ranking.
The next ACE Races update will contain the event venues and entry forms will be available at the end of January.
