You shout, they listen

No sooner had we posted our review of the new Camlbak Hawg, including all your review feedback than we get a reply from their International Marketing Manager, Danielle Gaillard-Picher.

Not only do CamelBak get full marks for reading through and answering your problems in turn but they're also ready to answer any more questions you might have.

In the meantime;

Joe Money and David both have some very good advice. The only thing I could suggest would be a thermal control kit to help avoid freezing in the winter.

I believe that Charlie is missing an O-ring. He should look on the inside of the cap to see if there is a black rubber seal. If not, he can contact our distributor in the UK for a replacement.

For Steve Down, there is no problem with freezing the bladder. I'm sorry no one responded to his inquiry earlier.

Now that's what we call service.

Thanks, Danielle

As the miserable git that complained about the lack of response I had from Camelback's website, can I be the first to thank Danielle for answering our queries and comments so promtly.

I will happily continue to freeze my bladder between rides to stop nasty gunk build up, safe in the knowledge that it is an approved activity. Sure beats all that messing with brushes and hanging out to dry!
