''I'm a racin' you in the name of the law''

No news of whether they'll be using GATSO guns to record fastest laps, or whether blue lights and sirens will be used to clear the track for overtaking riders, but the Police will be out in force on Sunday the 19th of August at Margam Park, Port Talbot, South Wales.

The Police National Mountain Bike Champs are part of the 5th round of the Welsh MTB Series, so if you're an officer of the law and fancy swapping your government issue helmet for something a little more aerodynamic get yourself signed up. Entry forms for the Police Race are available from Alan Murphy, Community Safety, Sketty Police Station, Gower Road, Swansea. 01792 450624 or by E-mail.
