Red Bull Helter Skelter Quad DH for Innerleithen

This year's prestigious Red Bull Helter Skelter: Project Downhill, will be held at Innerleithen on 3rd and 4th November. The course design is being revamped by Rob Warner, with Forest Enterprise doing the spadework to create what should be an epic run in the forest near Edinburgh. The Helter Skelter takes the form of a four up quad descender with the fastest rider through to the next round, aiming for a big wedge of the £3000 prize money.

Around 70 top riders are expected to line up at the start ramp and ensure a day of full on racing. All racing places are invitation only, with Giant and Kona Ford Focus Pro teams already confirmed so it'll be a great event for spectating. Practice sessions begin 8am on Saturday 3rd November, followed by the first round at 2pm. The second round will commence Sunday 4th November with the final scheduled for 2pm. (subject to change).

Riders wanting to race (proven DH / Dual pedigree required) should contact Brigitte Hlawaty at Red Bull, but for more event information head for www.redbullhelterskelter.co.uk.
