Chase checkpoints for charity

Well-known West Midlands woodland Cannock Chase will be the venue for an MTB orienteering event this weekend (November 3rd). It's the tenth anniversary of the event, and the organisers are hoping for a record entry.

Organiser Mick Tucker said, "It's going to be a fabulous event for cyclists of all ages. You can do as many or as few control points, as quickly or as slowly as you like. This year we are urging riders to get sponsorship of a penny a point to swell the Children In Need coffers, or to give to the good cause of their choice."

£1 of each competitor's £10 entry fee will also go to the BBC fundraiser.

You can get entry details from Mick on 01827 55195 or from the event website.

Trailquest neatly coinciding with the "More Ears than Gears ride" in the same place.
50+ Singlespeeders clogging the place up and generally getting in the way. I'll be one of them.
