If your creative juices have begun to flow with your efforts to help BM and Freestyle design a mid-layer (we're just collating all the responses now - it's taking a while...) and you've got ideas to spare, then maybe you can help Mud Dock design a pair of shorts. Shorts? In November? Uniquely, MD's shorts are planned to be waterproof:

"We can be fussy, but we do it for you! We were speaking to Howies the other day, and we sprung the idea of making a pair of shorts to wear over your Lycra shorts, 3/4 shorts or your longs in the summer/winter as most riders today do. But they could be made from the Ventile material used in pilot jacket rendering them waterproof and lovely to wear all year round. Genius we thought."

"So, the Howies man said 'OK, nice idea, you design 'em then!' No problem, we thought. After work, we got a few jugs of San Miguel together upstairs in the cafe and got cracking."
