The splendid chaps at Trailbreak have furnished us with dates for their major 2003 events.

First up is the Wight Diamond Challenge, a three-day race/party fest on the Isle of Wight. They're expecting over 1,000 riders in 2003, competing for Actual Cash Money Prizes in every race discipline you can think of and probably more.

Then there's the semi-legendary Lemming Challenges, a three-fingered handful of two day MTB enduros. First and most rugged is the Iron Lemming, 100 miles across the lumpier parts of Wales. That's June 14/15. Then on July 26/27 there's the slightly less rugged yet far from a ride in the park Ridgeway Lemming covering 80 miles of the ancient highway.

Rounding off is the classic South Downs Way Lemming, covering the whole of possibly Britain's most famous long-distance path across the two days of September 6/7.

Those are just the biggies - Trailbreak also organise heaps of navigation events, leisure rides, weekends away and a whole hill of other stuff. It's all listed on their site.
