New trails for Cannock Chase

Staffordshire's Cannock Chase has long been a popular MTB destination. Now a new group has been formed to work with the Forestry Commission to develop new trails. The IMBA-affiliated Chase Trails are aiming to have their first route finished during 2003. To that end they're hosting their first trailbuilding day on Sunday 9th February.

We'd anticipate that the dress code is the usual combination of stout footwear and a selection of digging tools, but head over to www.chasetrails.co.uk for further information, or email them on chase.trails@talk21.com.

Finally the midlands is getting some nice trails. Maybe some jumps would be nice too. I'll definitely see if I can get down to the trailbuilding day if isn't too cold. brr.
