Fifth 24 hour race announced

Just when you thought that there couldn't possibly be any more 24 hour races this year, along comes 24 Hour MUC (7/8 June 2003, Dunscombe Park, North Yorkshire).

It's described as "the ultimate 24 event of 2003" although pedants will point out that it's actually the second one in the calendar. The course is on the private estate of Dunscombe Park, and is 12km (7.5 miles) long with 300m (thick end of 1,000ft) of climbing and hence descending per lap. All mod cons are promised, including hot showers and plenty of sideshows and attractions to keep non-riders amused.

For more information, visit www.24hrmuc.co.uk (beware - needs Flash 6, may cause motion sickness...)
