MBR readers ride cancelled

If you were planning to turn up for the MBR reader event at Nant yr Arian this weekend - don't! Hopefully everyone registered for the event will have already been warned but just in case you haven't here's the news.

The event has unfortunately had to be cancelled for health and safety issues at the site. MTB ranger Paul Smedley says, "I know lots of you will be disappointed about the cancellation but I hope you understand that the decision was taken with your welfare and safety in mind."

The good news is that both the Summit trail and Continental Tyres Syfydrin trail will now be fully open to everyone this weekend. However with anticipated demand still high and the overflow car parking facilities no longer in place, it might be worth heading north to Coed y Brenin to avoid the crowds.

For more information about Nant yr Arian and the other Welsh MTB sites - including up to the minute ranger reports and downloadable maps - check MBWales.com before you head west.
