Those who have been keeping an eye on the bicycle media will probably have encountered the "above top secret" activities of the Bikehotrod conspiracy cartel. Its intriguing blend of UFO lore and bike chopper style has led to a number of cool things, not least among them the Kona Bikehotrod that we've looked at briefly before.
To go with it, Bikehotrod have released the official test pilot replica parachute, a funky retro-air-force styled pack complete with ripcord and handy safety label reading "NOT A PARACHUTE - DO NOT JUMP" just in case.
It's made of durable padded Cordura-type stuff, features a couple of zipped pockets, a document pocket and a large, rectangular main compartment that takes a fair amount of stuff. There's also a chest strap and a phone pocket. It's not really a "technical" pack, but just the ticket for those high-speed urban intercept missions.
