On-One/Planet X hit the road?

The On-One/Planet X viral marketing machine has whirred into life, generating finely-crafted rumours that the two closely-related brands are behind a new road team that's about to sign five of the UK's top pro riders.

The riders - double National road champ John Tanner, Six-time Tour of the Peak winner Mark Lovatt, current Best British All-Rounder Kevin Dawson, national track and crit champ Russell Downing and national Madison champ Dean Downing - have all been left in the lurch by the collapse of the Life Repair team and the hype is that On-One/Planet X have picked up the lot.

As tradition dictates, On-One boss Brant Richards was unable to confirm or deny the rumours. His only comment was that "various things are in the pipeline" which could mean "yes" or could just mean there's a blockage in the warehouse drains. We're reasonably confident that there'll be a definitive answer soon, though.
