Start as you mean to go on

Feel the pud drop away

If you've had anything like a normal Christmas and New Year, you're probably feeling a wee bit bloated and possibly still slightly hungover. Well, if you're anywhere within striking distance of Salisbury Plain we have the answer.

Get yourself to Erlestoke, near Devizes, this Sunday for the Salisbury Plain Challenge New Year Rough Ride. The start's 10am but if you haven't entered then get there early - registration queues can get pretty long. Choose from 25, 38 or 50km routes, and wrap up warm. We'll see you there...

For the first time in ages, I'm going to miss this! A really good friend of mine is over from Brussels, and this is the only day I can see her all year!

Even if last year I snapped a chain while riding along with our illustrious editor, that nice man, Mr D!

A fine event, and I hope everyone has a great time!
