On-One goes alu

Pre-production alu Inbred (Bigger pic)

Staunch steeler On-One is set to launch a couple of aluminium bikes, including an alu version of the not-actually-ubiquitous-but-it-sometimes-feels-like-it Inbred. Pictured is a pre-production example of the geared frame. Geometry appears to be unchanged (as if you can tell by looking...), tubing has a slight teardrop profile and the trademark welded wishbone stays appear to be present and correct.

Also in the works is an alu cyclocross frame. Going out under the Planet X brand will be a new trials frame plus a couple of "stealth" bikes for the use of the On-One/Planet X road team of Mark Lovatt, John Tanner and Kevin Dawson. We covered rumours of the team before it formed but inexplicably failed to mention the fact that it had actually seen the light of day. So there you go. On-One/Planet X. Road team. Three riders, as mentioned.

Where were we? Oh yes, bikes. The new team bikes are a mean-looking aero time-trials frame and a stripped-down track weapon. They're both production items and will be available to the buying public soon.

More details and pictures from On-One and/or Planet X.
