IMBA UK open house at SSMM

Wondering what's happened to IMBA UK? The British wing of the trail advocacy organisation launched last year and while there's been a lot of activity on the ground, not a great deal of it has come to the attention of the wider world. Well, if you're at this weekend's Saab Salomon Mountain Mayhem event then you'll find that it's open house at the IMBA UK marquee, a great opportunity to find out what it's been up to and what it can do for you.

The marquee will be open from Friday to Sunday, offering tea, biscuits and chat about bikes, trails and access. There'll be displays, route guides and information covering three main areas - progress and achievements to date, a trail building and access clinic and places to ride in the UK.

There'll also be an opportunity to have your say on the evening of Friday 25 June, when IMBA UK will hold an open meeting in the Red Bull tent with the aim of "exploring how IMBA can best assist mountain bikers with their trail building and access projects."
