Fundamentals DVD winners

We asked you to send us a photo proving why you are deserving of the Fundamentals DVD (and Dirt Magazine subscription) we're giving away, and after a slow start the photos came flooding in. Some of them were too gruesome to look at, while others were just plain embarrassing.

These are the 5 photos that proved their stars were most in need of some technique advice from the world's best riders

fundamentals dvd winner First up has to be Curious Orange. He obviously put in a lot of effort to create a truly shocking image.
fundamentals dvd winner Next up Tim Hampson, with such perfect timing as to capture the moment just before he slams his face into the mud.
fundamentals dvd winner In a Himalayan race Martin Downey managed to loose several points of blood after a high-speed stack. We think we should also send him a copy of "What not to wear" for that hat.
fundamentals dvd winner For such blatant use of Photoshop and illustrating every mountain bikers worst fear - the front wheel falling out - Alex Woodhead gets a prize.
fundamentals dvd winner And last up, for what looks like must have been a nasty crash that has done him no favours with the girls, Alex Thompson.

The lucky winners will each receive a copy of the Fundamentals DVD and a subscription to Dirt. If you can email us with your contact details, we'll get these prizes out to you.

While you're here, why not visit the gallery and rate your favourite photo of this bunch.
