Premier Series hits Builth Wells

It's Round 2 of the Premier MTB Series this weekend, with a return to Builth Wells's Fforest Fields venue for the first time since 2000. For added entertainment, the five mile NPS XC course will incorporate all of the old NPS DH course and combine it with a couple of hefty climbs and plenty of singletrack.

The Trek 6-4-2 Enduro will run on an extended eight mile course featuring the best bits of the XC route with an additional moorland section. There'll also be the usual attractions of Short Track, kid's races and Go-Ride training sessions.

Fforest Fields is a proper campsite, so if you're used to the often fairly basic facilities at bike races you'll be in the lap of luxury - hard standings for camper vans, electric hook-ups, shower/toilet block and even laundry facilities. There'll also be a sizable expo area.

If you're quick you can still get a postal entry in, otherwise on-line entry is available at www.xcracer.com or you can enter on the day up to 30 minutes before whatever it is you're entering. More details about the venue at www.fforestfields.co.uk and about the racing at www.inevent.co.uk.
