Wiltshire demo action

A Martian yesterday

More demo action this weekend, down* Wiltshire way this time. The host is Swindon's Red Planet Bikes (that's its Martian mascot over there) and the featured manufacturers will be Orange, Santa Cruz, Nicolai, Merlin, Litespeed, Tomac and Scott. There'll be bikes to ride from all of those, plus Santa Cruz's Nomad will be in attendance just to look at.

The riding will be up on the Marlborough Downs, and local racers Tom Whant (DH, Red Planet/X-Lite) and Rob Lee (XC/enduro, Extreme Endurance) will be around too, should you wish to pick up any tips or have your legs torn off on a ride.

The demo day is Sunday - it's a good idea to call Red Planet on 01793 522211 to book a place, as some of the bikes will be busy all day. More details at www.redplanetbikes.co.uk.

I'd love to try out a Nikolai - crazy bikes, I tell ya.

I hear they'll have some of the nice ones there to ride.
