USE launches new seatpost and stem

USE built its reputation on seatposts, and it's still coming up with new ones. The Sumo was launched last year with a new, much simpler clamp design than the often-troublesome twin-bolt Alien clamp (itself redesigned and simplified into a single-bolt version now), which has been well received. The Sumo arrived with a healthy range of length and diameter options but initially only in a nearly-inline (it had a tiny amount of offset) version. There's now a proper layback Sumo with 30mm of offset, though, so if your bike and/or favoured riding position demands a decent amount of layback there's a USE post for you.

USE also used the weekend's TCR show as an opportunity to reveal their foray into the world of stems. The one in the pics is still in the early stages of development, so was a little rough around the edges but first impressions are good. It's certainly light and is definitely aimed at lighter riders or out-and-out XC racers. We'll bring you more information when we get it, but expect the usual selection of lengths and rises and probably conventional and oversized bar versions too.

They were also showing of a rad looking tri bar, but we know you're probably not interested in that (although here's a pic just in case...).
