The first 24-hour race of the season is fast approaching, just 24 days in fact. Organisers are urging those wanting to take part in the event on 13 May to send them off soon.
The event aims to raise money for CLIC, the Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Charity. Last year competitors raised well over £34,000, and they hope to raise that this year. If you go, and you certainly should, you'll be treated to a great course, and organisers no doubt will have tweaked it for this year. Check out the promo vid on the CLIC24 website.
Neil Wilkins, head honcho says: “Everything is set for the best CLIC24 yet. It's such a unique atmosphere and the course is something really special”. Neil added “CLIC24 has a very different vibe to other events as we mix a real family feel with a weekend of riding classic singletrack in a beautiful part of England”.
Tempted? We sure are. Get your entry forms from www.clic24.org.uk and get them posted quick.
