The TransRockies stage race (vital statistics: 6-12 August, seven stages, 600km) filled up quite a while ago, but there's still a way that you could get in. For the second year, Race Face is running its Ultimate XC Challenge with two team places up for grabs. The winners will essentially get an all-expenses-paid TransRockies entry, plus a load of Race Face kit for their bikes and full technical support. Apparently that's a total prize value of $10,000 per team, although we're not sure if that's US or Canuckian dollars.
You'll have to do some work for it, though. The winners will be decided by the "online community", otherwise known as random strangers on the internet. You need to send in a 90-second video with your entry, which the judges will use to decide which teams face the public vote and upon which said public will do its voting. So it'll have to be pretty good at showing why you should represent Race Face at the TransRockies.
