Another chance to see the long-awaited follow up to The Collective for you - Newcastle and Northumbria Universities Mountain Bike Clubs, in conjunction with Fox Racing Europe, are hosting the North of England premier of Roam on Wednesday 10 May. We're sure that we don't need to tell you any more about the film itself, so we'll cut straight to details of the evening.
The place to be is Stage 2 Auditorium at Northumbria University Students Union. Doors open at 7pm and tickets are a bargain £1. All proceeds go to Newcastle and Northumbria Universities' cycling clubs. We'd suggest showing up early - tickets are available on the door only and there are only 250 of them. There's a bar at the venue, so drinks will be available - note that licensing restrictions mean that under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Additional attractions include a raffle with prizes from Fox Racing Europe, mx1.co.uk, Electric Optics, Shift MX, Oakley and others. You might even win a Roam DVD. The organisers plan to show footage of recent races at Hamsterley Forest, Innerleithen and other local venues, so if you've been racing up there recently you might catch a glimpse of yourself...
