We're kicking off our 2006 festivities with a gift idea that's not just cool but charitable too. This is a special edition of Crankbrothers 5050 XX flat pedal designed by the legendary (if not actually mythical) Hans Rey. Hans has founded a charity called Wheels4Life which provides bikes to people in third world countries who need transportation to work or school. All profits from the special edition 5050 XX go to the charity. The pedals come with extra black plates if you want a more subtle look, and extra traction pins.
