Hopefully you're a SheCycles member and have already received our newsletter about the forthcoming rides and demo events on offer from Specialized D4W (Designs For Women) Team. The Specialized D4W team would like to give SheCycles.com members the opportunity to join one of the Specialized Challenge Series women's specific events for a chance to win a Hardrock Sport Disc Women's mountain bike.
There are 6 Specialized Challenge Series are taking place over the next 3 months and 2 of them are specifically for women riders, all are a great opportunity to challenge yourself and test your skills on some of the UK's best trails.
Specialized D4W Womens events
Two of the Challenge events are specifically designed to offer women specific events and rides. Female riders of all abilities can enter the 8km ride as well as being able to demo Specialized and Giant's bikes and can also bring along a friend or riding escort (male or female) for FREE. The idea is to encourage more women newcomers in the hope they'll come back next year to compete at the event, or simply enjoy riding their bikes with others.
Meet Eron Chorney, the Design For Women's Product Manager, over from Specialized HQ, USA on the 28th April, she'll be on hand to help and answer any questions you might have. She's looking forward to meeting SheCycles.com members and sharing her passion and enthusiasm for Specialized products and women's bike engineering.

Specialized Challenge Series and Specialized Demos for Men and Women
The 4 Specialized Challenge Series for both men and women have 2 different rides to choose from: a 45km rides, designed for those seeking a technical and challenging off-road ride with endurance and performance in mind and a 25km rides with trails designed to be all inclusive in terms of off-road riding ability and personal fitness.

April 22nd: Grizedale Forest Park, Windermere

Specialized demo rides and Giant Dirt Demos will also be available to test ride, the women specific models from Specialized include the Stumpjumper FSR D4W Comp, Epic FSR D4W Comp and FSR XC FSR D4W. Giant's feamle specific demo bike range includes Anthem W, Trance W and the XtC W. The best bit is that the demo bikes are free to use on the demo track...now that's a good deal in our eyes!
