Yeti gets cross

Yeti Arc-X

Yeti are better known for bikes like the ASX, 575 and the monstrous 303 DH, so the addition of the ARC-X cyclo-cross bike seems a little out of place. There does seem to be a growing trend for companies to add a cross bike to their range however, as with the new Santa Cruz Stigmata. It's certainly a trend that we're keen on - 'cross bikes are great fun, versatile and deserve a wider audience than the winter racers.

With a custom butted and tapered tubeset, everthing that makes a Yeti a Yeti is evident, from the signature hooped stays to the manipulated top tube. Frame weight is a claimed 3.2lbs, and the asking price of £1,099 includes Easton EC90 forks and a Chris King headset. Frames will be available in September.
