Tyres used to be available in any colour as long as they were black, but while we've seen coloured tyres launched over the years, we've mostly stuck to good old black. SweetskinZ is hoping to change this though, with the launch of some truly unique tyre designs.
The tread pattern isn't what's important here, or how well they handle in mud. The USP of the SweetskinZ tyres are the multi-coloured and reflective designs, guaranteed to make you stand out day and night.
The bold designs are achieved from a thin skin of rubber being saturated with special ink, and applied to the tyre via a process that involves lots of heat and pressure. Currently four designs are available, but don't expect to be hitting your local singletrack with them, as they're more suited to BMX/Dirt riding/riding to the shops.
If you think black is so last year, point your browser at www.sweetskinz.com. They'll be in stores by the end of the year.
