TransRockies nearly full

The 2008 TransRockies Challenge is selling out at a record pace. Registration for the seventh running of the increasingly-legendary Canadian stage race opened on 1 November, with 200 of the 300 available team entries being sold that day. As of Monday 5 November just 50 spots remained. That means that more teams signed up for the 2008 TransRockies on the first day then competed in the first two editions of the race combined...

"It was a hectic morning," said Event Director Aaron McConnell. "Changing the opening time to 10am worked out well as we were in the office and able to handle the numerous inquiries which came in from all over the World."

So if you're keen to take part in what's bound to be a spectacular event, you'd better be quick. Full details and on-line registration at the all-new TransRockies site - www.transrockies.com.
