Women-only Atherton Training Days

Rachel Atherton

The first womens specific Atherton Training Day is here, it will be held on Saturday 1st of December 2007. Led by Rachel, it will be a chance for ladies of all abilities to get together and work on anything and everything they need to maximise their skills. A relaxed and fun day of riding and learning will surely help you step up that extra place, or just beat your male friends up that climb on your christmas ride!

Check out www.athertonracing.co.uk click on the training days and away you go. The website is not date specific but your form will be seen as an interest in the 1st December day (women).

Rachel writes "I really hope the ladies will be interested as i can see it being a really fun day and oh so worth their while, plus I get to ride with girls which makes a change and is always fun!"

A great days riding, visual technology to help you on your way, a lovely cosy cafe, the list goes on. You really have no excuse! Ladies, get your bikes.

If the training day with Gee and Dan Atherton is anything to go by, this is a definite must-do for women riders!

Check out my review of the first Atherton Training Day here

You have to be proud when you have home-grown talent like this on your doorstep AND they are offering training on UK soil ( unlike many who choose to teach out of Alping resorts in the summer...which isn't a bad thing, but does increase your costs and makes it less accessible ).

Just my views though
