Farewell Cannondale, hello Full Dynamix

More off-season musical teams, as Cannondale bids farewell to Fredrik Kessiakoff for the 2008 season. The Swedish rider is moving to the Italian Full Dynamix squad.

"After four years on a Cannondale I have decided to move on to new challenges," says Kessiakoff on his website. "Unfortunately my current team Cannondale/Vredestein and I were not able to come to an agreement, leaving me finding a new team. I am really excited and looking forward putting on the Full Dynamix jersey on the 1st of January. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the people at Cannondale and Vredestein, my team mates, the staff, the engineers at Cannondale for building an awesome bike, and everyone else involved in and around the team."

Kessiakoff joined Cannondale (then Siemens-Cannondale) as a new professional rider in 2004, staying with the team as it mutated into Cannondale/Vredestein. He was heavily involved in the development of the 2008 Scalpel Carbon 100, which took him to his first World Cup win in September at Maribor, Slovenia.

Cannondale/Vredestein finished as top World Cup team in 2007, and goes into 2008 with U23 World Champion Jakob Fuglsang, Roel Paulissen and Kashi Leuchs on the roster.
