We introduced you to Pronghorn Racing a short while ago - it's a Danish brand producing wheels, frames, seatposts, stems and handlebars, with a focus on lightweight, high performance and durability.
All products are precision made by low quantity manufacturers using some of the latest technologies available. The products are then tested in state of the art industry test machines and by top notch riders for real world durability.
We've just been sent an exclusive spy shot of the company's latest project, the Race Fully. The full suspension bike has been designed for XC racing, with the top of three models featuring a full-carbon frame getting the weight down to a claimed 1.8kg (4lbs), which is light in anyone's book.
But more interesting than that is the placement of the rear shock. The top tube drops down and shock is mounted horizontally just ahead of the seat tube, with the linkage anchored on the large gusset. We don't know much more than that, but will bring you more when we get it.
Sorry the competition is closed
But if you missed out and still want to get yourself a set visit Pronghorn Racing

Is it just me that saw this spy shot and thought that the shock placement was a brilliantly simple idea? Out of the way of any crap, adjusting the pro-pedal settings on the fly will be a doddle and you can see how much travel/sag your getting making set-up easier. Clever.
