London-based shop chain CycleSurgery is to expand outside of the M25 with a further seven stores being launched. The expansion comes following CycleSurgery's acquisition by outdoor retailer Snow+Rock.
The new stores will be located in current Snow+Rock stores, taking up more of them as the demand for ski and snowboarding equipment declines with the onset of the spring. The additional seven outlets will bring the total number of CycleSurgery branches to 14.
CycleSurgery will continue to offer the brands and customer service that have made the bike stores a hit with London based cyclists, and all stores will feature a full workshop. The first store at Romford is set to open towards the end of February, with Wirral, Birmingham, Didsbury, Port Solent, Bristol and Chertsey following in due course.
Mike Cunningham, CycleSurgery General Manager, says: "We've got the experience and the support of the leading brands in the industry to make this ambitious expansion work. Our stores in London are widely regarded as some of the best around and we love what we do... We're all looking forward to this opportunity".
