Award-winning holiday company Bike Verbier (based in the eponymous Swiss resort) is looking for new staff for its summer 2008 season. The two vacant positions are bike guide/host and chef/chalet host, with the jobs running from the start of May until the end of September.
The guide will, of course, need to be a fit and technically accomplished rider, will enjoy all styles of riding and will be able to adapt to others' abilities. They'll also need to be energetic and enjoy socialising. Applicants must have first aid qualifications and a clean driving license.
Probably fairly obviously, anyone applying for the chef/chalet host position will need to be able to cook. They'll also need good time and self-management skills as they'll be looking after the chalet and guests, cleaning, shopping and dealing with the accounts.
