John Castellano has two accolades - he's the self-proclaimed "Mr Pivotless", and also designer of the iconic Ibis Szazbo "sweet-spot" bike. He's still producing great products, now under his own name and has finally gone into production with a frame he announced last year - the 6lb 14oz "Zorro, Son of Szazbo".

Building on the original's design it'll run as a singlespeed, regular 26in or 29er, all with decent tyre clearance. You get the choice of 4.5 or 6in of travel, and also a range of different front end geometries to run the fork length of your choice.

Also jumping on the 650B bandwagon were Villin Bikes of Florida - with bikes to display the inbetweener wheel size.

Villin will custom build you a lugged steel frame (complete with 'stash' seat stay and fork).

Lynskey, best known as the founders of Litespeed, everyone's household name Ti shop, came with a couple of brand-new prototypes under their belt.

Such as this, a belt-driven singlespeed, which cunningly solves the problem of removing the belt by simply unbolting the drive-side seat stay and flexing the Ti stay out of the way.

Lynskey also had this Newsboy, a Ti cruiser that's sure to turn some heads.

Black Cat is Todd Ingermanson in Santa Cruz, California. He'll fillet braze any custom build bike you'd like, and has some nice touches like the pivoting drop out for adjustable chain tension and bent seat tube as optional extras.

Igleheart frames range the whole gamut of wheel size and gearing, and feature a lovely headtube badge that doubles as an anti-cable-rub device.

In their thirteen years building bikes in Texas, Crumpton have been doing carbon fibre for five. With a background in road bikes they're gradually making the move into the mountain market with this 29er prototype.

Cloud Nine win the "Best Business Card" competition by having their contact info printed on recycled tubes. Rather than deal as frame-only, they'd rather work with you to spec a complete bike that'll work with your riding style. Rumours of a Ventana-rear'd full-sus for next year, too.

Coconino have been producing fillet-brazed steel frames for around five years, and offer a full-custom process for whatever you'd like as a 26er, 29er or cruiser.
